Go Wansbeck Schemes – Community Finance Initiative

The Wansbeck Community Finance Initiative has provided additional funding to the Ashington Credit Union, which provides low cost loans to local people and also encourages them to build up their savings.

Anyone living or working in Wansbeck can benefit from this service, which is in part intended to help people who would like to start their own business but are caught in a cycle of debt, continually paying off high interest loans, or are in the early years of developing their business.
