WENDY URGES WANSBECK BUSINESSES TO GO ENTER!

There’s still time to enter the first ever Wansbeck Business Awards. Hosted by TV personality Wendy Gibson it’s sure to be a glamorous and enjoyable event.

Angela Steward, chair of the organisers Wansbeck Business Forum said: “What better way to celebrate enterprise in Wansbeck than by getting involved in these awards. We’re looking for all sizes of businesses – from start-up sole traders to established companies – to stand up and be recognised as being the best. The deadline for entries is 31 August.”

The awards are on 27 September and application forms are available online at www.wansbeckbusiness.co.uk

Wendy Gibson said: “I’m delighted to be involved in these new awards, fostering pride in Wansbeck as a great place to do business. It’s going to be a fantastic event!”

The Go Wansbeck initiative is sponsoring the New Business of the Year award and is now rolling out a range of schemes to encourage business growth, entrepreneurship and inward investment across the district.

Supporting sponsors include Fergusons and Astley Marquees.
