Sound Ideas

Sound Ideas was formed 10 years ago by former music teacher Jason Thompson, and now provides a range of digital media services from web site design and hosting to production of interactive CD-ROMs and software training.

Sound Ideas’ clients currently include many people who have started their own  successful businesses in Wansbeck -  Pride of Northumbria, The Northumberland House - as well as larger clients such as Wansbeck CVS, North Northumberland Tourism Association, LDR Squared and Polar Krush?.

Sound Ideas’ community website on the Newbiggin Bay redevelopment project www.newbigginbay.co.uk has had a staggering one million hits in the last two months.

Keith Raine, Wansbeck LEGI programme manager said: “Sound Ideas is a great example of one of our small businesses that has grown through offering high quality, value for money services".

“We’re totally committed to buying as many services as we can locally to benefit the local economy, and to encourage other organisations to do the same".

“There’s a high level of technical, creative and manufacturing expertise in Wansbeck and through LEGI we want to help those businesses grow, attract new businesses into the district and encourage more people to consider setting up their own businesses".
