GUNPOINT

Ashington-based Gunpoint offers a specialist pointing service. The company has tripled in size in just three years. Plans are now in hand to move into new areas of the construction industry and open a garage so the company can service its own vans.

Operating out of Northumberland Enterprise Centre and set up by managing director Fiona Robertson in 2004 with just seven staff, Gunpoint employs more than 30 people working from the Borders down to Middlesbrough and across to Cumbria. 

Fiona said: “I am delighted with the progress that Gunpoint has made over the last couple of years.  We are set to expand even further in the near future, with plans to develop into other areas of the construction industry, as well as opening a garage to service our fleets." 

“Wansbeck gives us the perfect base to expand and I can’t see us ever leaving.  Although we are a very local company and have a lot of clients in the region, we can also carry out jobs in mainland Europe.”
