Choysez

Choysez is an independent charity which works with young people from across the district. Based in Bedlington the team often work with in excess of 200 youngsters per week.

The grant Choysez received has enabled them to take on two new full-time members of staff. They have also bought a new minibus which they will use to take the youngsters out on more trips and activities, such as rock climbing, orienteering and museum and gallery visits.

Chris Conroy, the centre manager, said: “We are thrilled with the grant from Go Wansbeck.  It will give us a substantial boost and allow us to grow the business.  As an independent charity we rely on a small fee for our services, as well as charitable donations and grants like this one”
