Wansbeck Performance owner, Darren Darling, hopes it will encourage businesses to use the system on large delivery vehicles and other larger fleet vehicles.
Darren said: "We look to branch out into various new areas of vehicle performance. A system we’ve developed for HGVs has already generated significant interest. In the current economic climate, we can provide businesses a cost-saving solution to help cushion fuel costs.”
Wansbeck Performance opened its garage doors last year after receiving business and premises support from Go Wansbeck.
Go Wansbeck’s programme manager, Keith Raine said: “Wansbeck Performance has gone from strength to strength and it is another success story for Go Wansbeck. Darren is very passionate about what he does and Go Wansbeck is here to help others, like Darren, achieve their business aspirations.”
Wansbeck Performance is also working with a taxi firm in Lincoln on a system that will help drivers select the most efficient performance, at a flick of a switch, when they move from town centre to motorway. It is hoped this will attract interest from cab companies in Wansbeck.
