One of the best things about starting your own business is the great feeling of independence you can get and the ability to make important decisions on your own. Many successful people however, have looked back on their start up period and wished that they had been given a helping hand to guide them through the process of starting their own business.
Now, twelve helping hands are available within the Wansbeck district in the form of our Community Enterprise Coaches. The Enterprise Coaching project has evolved from the highly successful BizFizz project which piloted the idea of community based business coaching. The new team has increased in size to six and aims to help anyone living in Wansbeck who wants to develop their business ideas.
So, if you have a business idea, are in the process of starting a business or looking to improve and grow your existing business you need to talk to our coaching team.
With their practical business knowledge and vast experience, one of our coaches will work with you to identify any barriers to achieving your goals and, more importantly, they will help you to take action to overcome them using their extensive knowledge.

Jan Grieveson
Jan has more than 10 years business coaching experience and there isn’t much that he hasn’t seen or done in business. Jan, together with Graeme, was one of the original BizFizz coaches who made a significant difference to the lives of people in the Wansbeck area.
Sometimes larger than life, Jan will do anything he can to make sure you receive the very best business advice.

 Graeme Trotter
Graeme, as one of the original BizFizz coaches, is jointly responsible for the success of many of the new businesses that have been set up in Wansbeck over the past 2 years. He has a wealth of business experience and specialises in coaching start up businesses.
Graeme has previously run his own successful businesses many of which involved the training and development of people.
Graeme is a natural listener and has all the right connections to make your business succeed.

 Lisa Scott
Lisa’s key expertise lies in training and development following more than 20 years experience she gained working for a major UK bank. Lisa also knows what it’s like to run her own successful business too, as after a career break she and her husband launched a flourishing sports coaching company. As well as her many business qualifications, Lisa is suitably qualified in sports management. Lisa has a natural ability to help other people to succeed which together with her approachable personality and expertise makes for a first rate coach.
Lisa enjoys travel and walking her dog “Alfie” when she’s not playing her favourite sport of Badminton.

An engineer by trade, working with some of the biggest electronics companies in the world and latterly working as a successful management consultant, Karl likes nothing better than coaching people to success.
